Bringing Information to the Citizens

Responses to citizen requests for government information must be made promptly under the Right to Information Act of 2005. A RTI Portal Gateway is being made available to the public by the Department of Personnel and Training and the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions. This will allow users to quickly search for information about PIOs, first Appellate Authorities, and other entities, as well as access to RTI-related information and disclosures posted online by various public authorities within the national government of India and state governments.
